CTS Turbo High-flow Intake (6″ Velocity Stack) B9 Audi SQ5 3.0TFSI
We designed our system to work in conjunction with the OEM air scoop to seamlessly force cold air into the air intake system. Air then flows through our high flow 6″ velocity stack air filter for maximum engine performance.
Our single-piece proprietary molded silicone couplers allows for smooth entry of air into the engine providing peak power gains ranging from 10-12HP on a stock car.
All of the components included in the CTS air intake system work flawlessly together to provide increased horsepower and torque throughout the entire power band and an aggressive race-inspired sound. Turbo spool up and diverter valve release are a lot louder!

This is the cheapest intake available for the B9 SQ5. I’ve searched a lot as they all seem to be £600 plus from the likes of ECS and 034 and as good as those brands are (have the X-Pipe from ECS and stage one from 034) I wasn’t willing to fork out between £600 to £1,000 for an intake. I did have a Pipercross filter in my he stock air box which was loads better than stock however I wanted that aggressive intake sound. This provides that and for the price compared to competitors provides all the fun your ears crave. The minor performance gains claimed are yet to be experienced so with that again for the price is fantastic. The only reason I felt I had to knock a star off is due to the fiddly nature of the instal, which is likely due to its design. It’s not hard to work out where everything goes however install instructions could be helpful as the two studs that the stock bungs have to be transferred to are different lengths, and I initially set them up to the lengths that matched the stock airbox. This would not fit no matter how hard I tried. After switching them, it fit better but was still fiddly. The fight with the silicone hose then commenced as it just would not go between the shroud and the turbo inlet pipe. After cutting an inch off the turbo side of the silicone CTS hose, it fit perfect between the inlet and shroud allowing me to finally install the filter. Additional trimming was also needed on the shroud rubbers to get them to the correct lengths. With that, it’s not a simple plug and play install with the kit. This is purely a review on the part and now Awesome, I have purchased all but one of the upgrades for my vehicle from them and although there is always a wait for delivery (US companies) Awesomes communication is always spot on, they get a 5*
