ECS Tuning 1.9TDI Transverse Shallow Hybrid Sump Conversion Kit

This hybrid sump kit was custom made by Volkswagen and is half alloy and half steel.

The steel lower plate can take more abuse than the original alloy sump which shatters once it's been hit. The steel has the ability to absorb more impact than the alloy version.

This part was manufactured by Genuine Volkswagen / Audi, the same company that designed and produced your vehicle. What does this mean for you? Simply put, these parts were designed to fit your vehicle, so you can be sure of perfect fitment without issues. On top of that, each part was produced with the best quality possible.

Kit includes the following components:
Hybrid oil sump with drain plug
Oil pickup tube

Notes:
This oil sump is not compatible with the standard oil level sensor. When converting to this sump, if your vehicle has an oil level sensor, this will need to be coded out in Vagcom / VCDS.
Lower Steel section of the oil pan will need to be sealed and torqued to correct specification prior to installation.
This kit does not include any sump sealant.
