Want to make your hatch pop open like magic? This kit includes everything you need to make your hatch open with the touch of a button on your key fob.

Simply replace your stock struts, flip your hatch strut mounts 180 Degrees, install the included strut mounting ball studs, and that's it!

This is a simple accessory that will leave you wondering how you ever lived without it! No coding or any programming required!

Kit includes:

  • Specially Valved ECS Tuning Hatch Struts
  • Hatch Strut Ball Studs
  • Hatch Strut Ball Stud Washers

Important Notes!
* Bump stops in installation video are no longer included in kit. These are no longer required with the ECS Tuning Hatch Struts.
* As to be expected the hatch will be more difficult to close than with the factory hatch struts. However, with a slight increase in force over the factory hatch struts, you will be used to this slight change in no time.
* Failure to flip the upper ball joints 180 Degrees will prevent the kit from working.
* You will need to press and hold the rear hatch button on your key fob for the hatch to open.

    As the title states. I&#039;m not lazy and was very happy to continue with the stock struts. But decide I would give it a try. And I&#039;m not disappointed. The kit makes life a little easier especially when your hands are full, all it takes is a push of the button on the key fob or of the hatch, and voila! It pops open. Love the kit! Well worth it in my opinion.

    What a brilliant bit of kit this is. Makes life that little easier popping the boot from the key instead of the awkward VW badge. Not to mention it looks cool as hell. Creates a fair bit of pressure to close the boot but not an issue unless you&#039;ve got the strength of a pensioner. Dead easy to install, only took a few minutes. Highly recommended this to anyone, a must have mod.
