GFB expands the DV+ range with a direct-fit solution for the weak factory diverter valve used on many European vehicles.
The solenoid coil itself from the factory-fitted valve is great (the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it?), but the weak point however is the valve mechanism itself. So GFB’s DV+ solves this problem by replacing just the valve parts with an anodised billet aluminium housing fitted with a brass piston machined to exacting tolerances.
The end result is sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and it will hold as much boost as you can throw at it. Read all about the DV+ story on the next page.
A superior quality part supplied by Awesome GTI arrived on time and in perfect condition , extremely precision engineered part and it fitted so perfectly with very fine tolerances and clearances between existing engine parts , the brass plunger is so solid and the hard spring supplied makes the unit hold boost right through to redline and maximum psi is seen instantly on the boost gauge , be sure to refit the original OEM vag solenoid to actuate it , don't change this part as it is the fastest you can get and together with the valve makes a solid upgrade , all fits seamlessly , brilliant and satisfying product
At last, solid and stable boosting. Mine didnt have a broken DV just an older revision which was the C type.
Fitting this unit, which took about 20 mins whilst carefully reading and taking ones time, resulted in a more pleasing progressive boost which never lost psi right to the redline.
