GFB’s DV+ solution couldn’t be simpler - keep what works and replace what doesn’t.

Worldwide PCT Patents and Design Patent Pending

  • Retains the factory solenoid coil for seamless integration
  • Replaces plastic valve parts with metal for reliability and strength on chipped engines
  • Direct-fit replacement with GFB’s TMS benefits
  • Exclusive “pilot-actuated” valve mechanism for rapid response at high boost

GFB expands the DV+ range with a direct-fit solution for the weak factory diverter valve used on many European vehicles.

The solenoid coil itself from the factory-fitted valve is great (the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it?), but the weak point however is the valve mechanism itself. So GFB’s DV+ solves this problem by replacing just the valve parts with an anodised billet aluminium housing fitted with a brass piston machined to exacting tolerances.

The end result is sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and it will hold as much boost as you can throw at it. Read all about the DV+ story on the next page.

GFB’s DV+ solution on the other hand is more responsive, less expensive, easier to install, and doesn’t cause compressor surge/turbo flutter. Oh, and it doesn’t require different springs or frequent re-builds.

I never needed to replace my diverter valve as I already had the revision G but I like the idea of the GFB DV + lasting longer ,taking out my diverter was a little tricky as I had to get under the car to take it out I have been told I can take it out through the wheel arch but decided to go under the car. Two bolts was easy to remove but the top bolt I had to take out like as if I had my eyes shut if you take your time it will come out, Installation was really easy but remember to put a little engine oil on the brass piston the turbo blow off will naturally lubricate it over time . It really does work the car feels totally different much more quicker in 1st and 2nd gear but much more noticeable in midrange onwards I haven’t had turbo flutter which some people experience but there is a very subtle whoosh noise .The Craftsmanship of the DV+ is very well made very pleased with this product yet again awesome service from Awesome GTI.

Relatively easy install, feels very well made, super responsive performance. I paired this with install of 034 HFC and made a significant difference in throttle response and spool up time. Plus it makes a better whoosh sound at high boost. Would definitely recommend even for stock car.

Saw this and decided to go ahead and purchase a cheap is upgrade after seeing reviews and recommendations and I don’t regret it one bit, feels like it’s completely transformed my car. Didn’t think such a small change could make a huge difference, throttle response is fantastic always feels like it’s ready to go and lag reduced dramatically, boost is always there no matter what gear you shift in to. Definitely a must have product, also fantastic service from Awesome as always!

So I didn't really think there was anything missing from my GTI before I fit this but damn was I wrong. The car is now so much more immediate and responsive through the gears and even feels smoother just in regular drive mode. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably priced mod that makes a difference. A bit of a fiddle to fit, what with the turbo elbow being in the way but I got there in the end. All in all a cracking little bit of kit. Well done GFB!

  • GFB DV+ for 2.0tfsi K04 Turbo

I have Skoda Octavia VRS with K04 Turbo, so my diverter valve has been moved to the front of the engine, its currently running 350bhp revo map, had the plastic revision D diverter valve fitted, have been told by a few sources that they can loose a little boost over time, so I thought I'd try the GFB DV+ diverter valve, and I'm well happy I did, have fitted in the sport mode with the spring fitted behind the piston, and what a difference, was by no means a slouch before, but it is even more responsive on the throttle and when you let off and go back on the throttle, the boost is there even quicker, can't thank awesome enough for the info and recommending it.

Fitted this after discussing my missing power with the boys at Awesome GTI. Was easy to fit with the wheel off and splash guard out. Took the car for a quick blast and OMG there it is.. My missing power punch is back and i'm well happy. Highly recommended :)

So much better than stock hands down. Throttle response has improved greatly, boost when it comes on at around 2k RPM feels much more torquey. I'm certain my car is quicker off the line as well. Don't get me wrong it will not make you more boost but it utilises what you have much better. It's not to loud either. You do get a bit of a wooosh when you lift off the gas but it's by no means loud or really offensive but just enough to hear with the windows down. I had a 06H Rev C diverter in my A3 quattro 2.0 TFSI NOT one of the old diaphragm design ones and I am yet to decide on whether to install a Rev D as supposed to control boost a little better with less flutter but the old adage of not broke do t fix it rings loud in my mind. All in all the best 100 I've spent on my car to date. Instant results.
