A 180ºF / 82ºC thermostat (standard is 195ºF / 90ºC ) is a must to additionally bring down engine temperature.

    I like that it keeps the engine 4 degrees cooler. And a good way to give an early indication if something’s not right without running too hot and doing damage.

    Replaced my original OEM thermostat with this one after the original failed after 1 year, fitted perfectly and keeps the engine temperatures slightly lower on my Mk1 TT BAM engine. Very happy with purchase

    Always a decent mod when replacing the old and used thermostat! Helps by getting the temperature down abit.
