The new intake is a high-capacity complete replacement airbox, with twin front air intakes, housing a giant TriFoam double-volume filter rated to 600hp.
The PU material used for its construction is the same as the original factory air box and engine-cover, textured to match in to the exact same finish. But it's not just the appearance that's built to OEM standard. The mounting points use the factory system, ensuring simple and reliable fitment, with nice details such as the factory drain-hole being retained.
Standard filter area = 43,200mm
Racingline Performance R600 filter area = 96,477 mm
Please note: This is not compatible with the 190ps (188bhp) models!

Fantastic bit of kit. Around 30 mins to take stock air box out & install intake
Brought this product. Delivered in good time, product well packaged and when installed fits like OEM, performs well. Very good product all round.
Excellent service from AwesomeGTI - really helpful website chat - purchased without issue - speedy delivery and well packed - fitted intake myself - simple replacement for the OEM airbox - it has over twice the capacity of standard. Aligning some of the front plastic intake was a little tricky but got it sorted. Gave 4 stars as I have not driven it much since fitting - current second car. Turbo muffler delete is next on my list!!
Bought this during the Black Friday sale, along with the racingline silicone hose and racingline hi-flow turbo elbow, just installed all three today and what a difference, so much more noise both outside and inside the car, throttle feels much more responsive and not as much turbo lag.
I’m unsure as to what difference each individual item would make but the 3 really do compliment each other and work so well, installation was easy enough, just be careful when doing yourself to not drop any screws especially on the turbo elbow, the intake box is a bit of a tighter fit but take your time and you’ll have no problem, overall I’m very happy with these products and Awesome were a fantastic help and great for delivery
