These have been on my trusty 1.4 TDI for over a year now and I couldn't be happier.
A couple of years ago I had an advisory for my old suspension on the LH rear so I had to do something for the next MOT. I originally bought some OEM shocks which were terrible, when fitted with the old springs the car became a death trap so in the bin they went. Since the cost wasn't that different to replacing eveything for OEM I decided on these which were on offer for 499.
We had no issues fitting them and we initially lowered everything by 40mm all around which is the highest setting specified. The front camber was way out so I took the car to place near me and they put it on a Hunters alignment rack.
The camber was then sorted and the garage also made a couple of adjustments to the ride height to take into consideration the drivers weight etc.
The car now sits better and handles like a go kart, the ride is very comfortable especially considering the harshness some coilovers introduce.
I had to go to another insurer which has added more to my insurance premium, but it's worth the aditional cost as the fun factor and the super stability puts a smile on my face every time I drive the car.
Not sure I want to lower the car any more as it's low enough and I have no issues with speed bumps at the current setting which was one of my concerns when upgrading to these.
These are well worth the money and completely transform how the old girl drives.
