034Motorsport High Flow Exhaust Manifold for Longitudinal 1.8 20v Turbo (KO3)
Looking for a high flow but don't want to reconfigure your engine compartment? We made this manifold for you, using high temp rated, high silica content cast iron, this manifold is a direct fit for OE turbo installation, which 50% larger runners for significant improvements in flow.

Excellent so far - Previous review states faster boost times, happy to confirm this on my car.
1.8t, standard internals but fitted with AET rebuilt KO4-001 for ease of fit, bolts up to this manifold perfectly. Mk1 Audi TT, originally 180.
Tricky to fit to the car with engine in situ, had to make myself an open ended swan neck spanner (AwesomeGTI customer services were very nice when called about this)
Not impossible but at least 4/5 spanners if it were in a Haynes manual.
Manifold itself is much thicker, which while making fitment more difficult, does make the manifold more durable and less prone to cracking as the two replacement manifolds I had ready to fit had done.
Engine bay temps do seem hotter but this is normal for any tuned 1.8t.
Re power, impossible for me to say definite improvement as fitted alongside a larger turbo & injectors incl map.
Garage did remark on how much faster the turbo spooled compared to other 1.8t’s
Overall, good performance, difficult to justify price but if you’re after a well performing piece of hardware, it’s hard to knock this.
