These pads do exactly what you want. I have them on my mk2 fabia vrs and they are great. They have plenty of grip from cold and are a very grippy pad for driving round town you do not need much peddle pressure at all. If you are having a little bit of fun and get a bit of heat in them they will not let you down either I've done some heavy breaking with them and had no soft peddle feel or signs of fade the only problem I would say is they do make there fair share of brake dust, I have the red stuff in my astra and it is quite a noticeable difference in dust but don't let that put you of as the dust comes of very easily and all the rest of the breaking performance out stands that would definitely recommend
