To achieve this they carefully balanced the friction surface area, friction materials, plate designs and clutch pack shimming. A perfect balance between different aspects is the key for an excellent performing DSG racing clutch!
Too often clutches with too many friction plates, too thin steel plates and bad friction plate designs are available on the market. All of these aspects have a negative effect on the reliability and drivability of the DSG transmission.

RACING CLUTCH SPECIFICATIONS
For the DQ250 and DQ380/DQ381 we recommend our DQ500 conversion for torque levels above 700Nm respectively 800Nm. For racing applications an upgraded clutch is always recommended.
